Why this matters for an airport
Airports are not isolated from the communities around them. Compatible land use, the parcels inside a protection zone, the demographics of a neighbourhood under an approach path — these are regional planning questions that happen to land on an airport sponsor's desk.
TDH has built integrated land use and transportation models for metropolitan planning organisations including AMBAG and SANDAG. That is the same analytical toolkit, pointed at a smaller and more specific problem.
